I've been longing to make a fan art of Rey since the first minute she appeared on The Force Awakens, 

but the movie made me cry SO MUCH that my heart need some time to recover... 

so many feelings ;________;

But YAY! The saga now has a super cool lead character and I can't think of anyone else 

more perfect than Daisy Ridley for the role, can't wait to watch the next movies!!

And this time I'm really super excited to show you my favourite girl from my 2016 Pin up Calendar!!

Whenever I make a pin up illustration I become fond of the girl I'm "bringing to life" but this lovely bunny has really ended up being very special to me.
She represents everything I like: my favourite colours - pink and blue - cute and sexy outfit, my most desired hairstyle and... chocolate easter eggs!

That's why she has become the profile picture in all my social networks. And there's, more coming... I have big plans for this soft tailed lady, stay tuned!

Time is running out so fast I can't believe March is almost gone, but this is just the 3rd the 12 pin up illustrations of my 2016 Calendar, hurry up and get yours to enjoy full of sweetness and sensuality. You can see all the special promos of my calendar here!

Happy Birthday, dear Marilyn ♥

1st June is Marilyn Monroe's birthday, she would have turned 89 and become a lovely grandma ♥

In my mind she's always alive, whenever I'm stuck drawing a pin up girl, I ask to myself how would Marilyn look, and inspiration comes right to me! So here's my little tribute to my beloved muse.

I don't know if gentlemen prefer blondes, but sure they all prefer Marilyn xDD

Veggies canvas

As you may remember, last Christmas I printed my own pin-up artworks calendar and to my surprise I sold lots and lots of copies! Part of this was thanks to my mother-in-law, who truly helped me a lot to promote, sell and even pack them ♥

I felt so grateful, that I prepared a little surprise to thank her: an original painting on canvas about one of her favourite hobbies, veggies! :P

I swear it's been YEARS since the last time I touched gouaches, you can imagine how nervous I was before starting to paint it! xDD But then I felt very comfortable with the technique and I loved the fact that, unlike watercolours, I got bright and intense colours (that's one of the main reasons I don't usually paint with traditional techniques... Ok, that and the magic "undo" button xD).

Sant Jordi '15

Oh yes!! It's my favourite day of the year again: 23rd April, "Sant Jordi"!

I love this date because in Catalonia we have the tradition in which men give a rose to women, and we give men a book as a present (but nowadays we girls get both things, yay!).
That means today Barcelona (and every city in Catalonia) looks even more beautiful with its streets full of roses and books, it's impossible to stay at home today!

And here's the dragon of St. George's legend, I love the story but I always feel sorry for the dragon, he was just a bit hungry! xDD So I prefer to make it look adorable and give the story a happy ending for everyone.

By the way, I'm sorry I've been posting the same picture for the last 3 years :_D I hope next year I'll finally have time enough to make a new illustration to celebrate this beautiful day! :D

Hi there!

I've been missing for a while, working hard on some new stuff I'll publish soon, but for now I'm back with some good news I've been longing to tell you!
Some weeks ago I was interviewed by Erial Magazine, we had a great time talking about many things like my days as an art student, my influences and goals, I also explained my point of view as a female artist who draws pin up girls, etc!

¡Hola de nuevo!

He estado ausente un tiempo, trabajando en bastante material nuevo que publicaré pronto, pero ya estoy de vuelta con buenas noticias que deseaba contaros :D

Hace unas semanas el equipo de Erial Magazine me hicieron una entrevista en la que pasamos un rato genial charlando de muchas cosas como mi época de estudiante de arte, mis mayores influencias y objetivos, también expliqué un poco mi punto de vista como artista femenina que dibuja chicas pin up, etc.

Love isn't perfect!

Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
YAY! It's that time of the year when we can eat tons of chocolates without feeling guilty at all! (oh wait, I do that every day xDD)

This year I wanted to make something funnier and the idea of a not-greatly-skilled Lady Cupid came into my mind. People often says "Love is blind" or complaint like Cupid did something wrong, well here's a theory of what happened :P

Oops! ...Well you know, Love isn't perfect after all!

It has also been a good opportunity to practice more face expressions, it's so fun!

Hello 2015!

So, 2014 has been a crazy and hard-working year... until the very last day!
2 weeks before Christmas I decided to print some calendars, which is something I've wanted to do for many years but never got the time... and surprisingly this year I made it right on time!

 
Wrapping all the calendars was fun but it took a lot of work, thanks to my mother in law for helping me!
(Gràcies per tota l'ajuda, Carme!)

At first I was going to print just a few but as the news began to spread, people kept asking for more and more calendars, so I finally printed a lot more than I thought and... they're all sold out! I still can't believe it!

UPDATE: as I'm still getting requests to purchase my calendar, I'm going to print a few more.

So I've been thinking, maybe it's the moment to get serious about opening my own online store (maybe in Etsy, Society6... or both xDD) so I could sell some prints, bookmarks, or my next year's calendar.. ;)

And talking about New Year's resolutions, I've included "daily sketches" on my list again (like every year xD), these are the first daily doodles of 2015! I want to work even harder this year :D

Today's the birthday of probably the most adorable and sensual creature that has ever existed,
the woman that always inspires all my artworks... Marilyn Monroe!

I could spend hours talking about how much I admire her, I love her movies since I was a kid and I've been always amazed by her personality, how she could be so sweet, flirty, fragile, femenine and sensual... all at the same time! She's such an inspiration for me, now I always look for that "sweet & sensual" perfect combination; so this little tribute is my way to say thanks to her... for being so wonderful! :)

Feliç Sant Jordi

It's my favourite day of the year again! 23rd April, "Sant Jordi" (St. George's Day)

Here's the story as I've explained it in older posts:

"As most of you may know, the legend of St. Jordi (very briefly) is about a town terrorized by a terrible dragon, and to calm down the beast they decide to offer every day a random citizen to feed the animal.

One day the chosen one for the sacrifice is the princess of the kingdom, but just before the dragon eats her, a knight appears, kills the dragon and saves her.

From the blood that came out of the monster grew up a rosebush, 
from which the knight gave one rose to the princess."

I love this day because in Catalonia it's a big celebration where men give women a rose and women give them a book (now it's even better for us girls because we get both roses and books! xDD)

So today the streets of Barcelona look beautiful, full of stalls selling books and roses...
it's a perfect day to take a walk around the city!

This is a dream come true for me, thanks to them I've known great artists I truly admire and I've been longing to become part of the group for years, so this is a huge honour (....wow, 2014 has just started and it's already a great year! xD).
