More illustrations for Living the City!
Some weeks ago this picture was part of the email sent to the members to present "The Secret Room", a very special beauty saloon.

When I made this illustration the local wasn't inaugurated yet so, as I didn't have any reference photos, I focused on showing its features: you can change your hairstyle while you read a book or taste some good wine, it also has excellent beauty treatments, etc.

I think you might feel like a celebrity there! :p

Hace unas semanas esta imagen formó parte del mailing enviado a las socias para presentar
"The Secret Room", un salón de belleza con mucha personalidad.

Cuando realicé la ilustración el espacio aún no se había inaugurado así que como no tenía imágenes en las que inspirarme, me centré en mostrar todas sus características: te puedes cortar el pelo o peinarte mientras lees un libro, tomas una copa, también tiene tratamientos de belleza muy especiales, etc.

Creo que debes sentirte como una celebrity allí! :p

Habemus nueva ilustración en Living the City :)

El mailing a ilustrar era para la inauguración del Moritz "Bar à Vins" en Barcelona, un espacio para probar más de 400 grandes vinos a precio "Low Cost" en un entorno único dentro de la Fábrica Moritz.

Como el protagonista de la ilustración debía ser el vino, usé tonos rojizos y marrones para crear el ambiente del local (muy chulo, por cierto) y capté la idea de que vas a poder probar todos los vinos que quieras. ¡Incluso me dediqué a buscar las etiquetas de los vinos que sirven allí! jaja

Espero que os guste y pronto os enseñaré la siguiente ilustración "Living the City" ;)

There's a new illustration for Living the City! :)
This time I had to make an illustration to inaugurate Moritz's "Bar à Vins", a new place in Barcelona where yo can taste more than 400 types of wine for a very low price and in a great atmosphere.

The most important thing for this illustration was "wine" so I painted a lot with brown and red, similar colours of the wine. I even searched for the labels of the wines they have there! haha

Hope you liked it and soon I'll show you next Living the City's illustration ;)

Asi que hoy compartiré aquí todos los diseños de las Lady Gangas y las ilustraciones (en buena calidad) que hice para Venca ;)

I've realized I have a few works that I forgot to publish on my blog... So today I'm sharing with you all the character designs and illustrations I did for the fashion online shop Venca ;)

Primero diseñé a las Lady Gangas, las protagonistas de la campaña de rebajas, todas con algún toque de "Lady Gaga". Originalmente llevaban traje de "pit girls" y finalmente las adapté con ropa del catálogo. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . First of all I designed the three characters, the "Lady Gangas" (Lady Sales). I changed their original suits and made a new version with clothes from Venca's catalogue.

También realicé tres ilustraciones, cada una con una situación diferente según el momento 

de la campaña de rebajas.

Also, I made three illustration, each one for a different situation of the sales campaign.

Y más o menos eso fue todo, si os gusta que os ponga los pasos que hago cuando realizo una ilustración o un proyecto, comentádmelo y publicaré más "making of"s ;)

Ilustradora para "Living the City"

¡Bueno pues empezamos la semana con muy buenas noticias!

Os dije que tenía un nuevo proyecto que explicaros y es que ahora soy la ilustradora de "Living the City", un club de ocio exclusivo para mujeres. Su propósito es ofrecer a sus socias propuestas y planes originales para pasárselo bien, siempre con algún toque especial (no, no es un club de ofertas a lo LetsBonus jaja) y disfrutar al máximo de la ciudad. Por ejemplo recomiendan restaurantes con mucha personalidad, centros de belleza innovadores, boutiques de ropa con encanto y muchísimas actividades más siempre garantizando la calidad.

Por supuesto esta mentalidad a mi me encanta ya que adoro disfrutar de mi ciudad, Barcelona, así que estoy muy motivada con este nuevo trabajo ¡y espero que tenga mucho éxito!

La primera ilustración ha sido para presentar "La Coqueteria", una boutique vintage de Barcelona, la mar de bonita y acogedora. Para realizarla me he centrado en el estilo retro y dulce de sus colecciones, ¿qué os parece?

Así que chicas, si os suscribís a sus mailings recibiréis todas sus propuestas y además ¡todas las ilustraciones que yo haga! Y chicos, lo siento por vosotros aunque iré subiendo las imágenes también a mi blog para que no os las perdáis! ;)

Let's start the week with very good news!

I told you I had a new project to tell you about and it's that now I'm the illustrator of "Living the City", a leisure club exclusively for women. Their purpose is to provide its members good and original ideas and places to enjoy the city (by the moment it's only in Barcelona and Madrid). For example they recommend some restaurants with personality, innovative beauty centers, charming boutiques and a lot more activities, always quality guaranteed.

Of course I love that mentality because I really like enjoying my city, Barcelona, so I feel very motivated with this new job and I hope it's going to be very succesful!

The first illustration was made to present "La Coqueteria", a vintage boutique from Barcelona, really charming and cozy. To create it, I focused on their sweetness and retro style, do you like it?

So girls, if you subscribe to "Living the City" newsletter you're going to receive all their news and all the artwork I'll be doing! And boys, sorry for you but don't worry, I'll keep updating the blog with each new illustration, so you won't miss any of them ;)

Colección de verano para OPQA Games

¡Hola a todos! ¿Qué tal va el verano?

Me imagino que la gran mayoría estaréis disfrutando de las vacaciones, aliviando este terrible calor en la playa o la piscina... (sí, tengo un poquito de envidia jaja)

Bien pues el verano también ha llegado a OPQA Games, y ya está disponible la nueva ropa que he diseñado, hay un montón de bañadores y conjuntos bien fresquitos :P

Hace unos días os dije que tenía varias buenas noticias acumuladas, la primera era mi participación en el libro benéfico "Ilusionaria 2"... ¡Y aquí va la siguiente!

He diseñado ropa para la web de juegos flash OPQA, así que ahora los personajes podrán ir bien guapos y a la moda jajaja 

En total he creado 10 conjuntos completos (5 para chicas y 5 para chicos) que incluyen peinado, ropa y zapatos (las caras y las figuras no son mías). Como buena fanática de la moda, varios de los diseños los he pensado yo misma pero para muchos me he inspirado en catálogos de moda actuales ¡A ver si conseguís reconocer alguna pieza!

Las imágenes que os muestro son los diseños originales ¡Pero en la web tenéis muchos colores más! Para ver la ropa tan sólo tenéis que registraros en OPQA y crear vuestro personaje, cuanto mayor nivel alcancéis más ropa de la tienda desbloquearéis :)

Estos días estoy preparando una tanda de ropa veraniega ¡Os avisaré cuando esté disponible!

Últimas ilustraciones para Venca / Last illustrations for Venca

¡Hola de nuevo chicos! :)

Estos días he entregado las que parece serán ya las últimas ilustraciones de la campaña de rebajas de Venca. ¡Y ya se puede ver la primera de ellas!

Esta vez me han pedido que usara las ilustraciones que realicé para diseñar a cada una de las Lady Gangas. En los diseños originales, como eran a modo de prueba, me inventé yo la ropa y las vestí como pit girls (esas chicas espectaculares de las carreras). La verdad es que me gustó mucho cómo quedaron sus trajes, ya que además era la primera vez que pintaba dando efecto de látex (quedaron muy sexys jajaja)

Pero para la campaña, las he retocado y las he vestido con ropa del catálogo de Venca, cada una con su estilo.

En esta ocasión han escogido a mi favorita de las versiones modificadas, la del vestido rojo. 

Que yo recuerde también ha sido la primera vez que pintaba textura de lentejuelas, y tras pasarme horas pintando puntito a puntito en mil capas (@.@) estoy muy contenta con el resultado.

De las otras dos restantes no se si usarán sólo una o ambas, pero tranquilos, cuando acabe la campaña os mostraré el proyecto entero, incluidos los diseños originales y una Lady Ganga que publicaron y que yo no me enteré XDDD

En fin chicos, tengo planeado mañana mismo publicar un post especial de encargos para San Valentín con precios especiales y una mini ilustración de muestra, ¡Si no sabéis qué regalar ya tenéis solución! :D

¡Hello again guys! :)

These days I have finished what seem to be the last illustrations for the Venca's sales campaign. And you can already see the first one!

This time they wanted me to use the first illustrations I made to design each Lady Ganga. In the original designs, as they were on a trial, I created their clothes and I dressed them as pit girls. The truth is that I really liked their suits and it was also the first time I painted latex clothes (they looked very sexy haha)

But for their campaign, I've modified them and used clothes from the Venca catalogue, each one with her own style.

This time they have chosen my favourite modified version, the one with the red dress.

I think it has also been the first time I've painted sequins, and after spending hours and hours painting dot by dot on a thousand layers (@.@) I'm very happy with the result.

There are two illustrations remaining but I don't know if they are going to use only one or both. But don't worry, when the campaign is over I will show you the entire project, including the original designs and one Lady Ganga I didn't get to see on their website :s

Well guys, I have planned to publish a special post about Valentine's Day commissions tomorrow, with special prices and a little illustration. If you haven't found a nice gift yet, here's your solution! :D

Hace unos pocos días que salió en la web de Venca la segunda ilustración que hice para ellos. Aunque vuelven a salir las mismas dos chicas que en la anterior, os aviso que hay una chica más cuya ilustración aun no ha salido.

Estos días estoy algo liada ya que estoy metida en varios proyectos que están por decidir, pero no sufráis, os seguiré informando sobre las ilustraciones que vayan saliendo en Venca.

Y ya puestos os adelanto que en breve aceptaré encargos personales (para particulares) durante un corto periodo de tiempo. Podréis encargarme la ilustración que queráis para vosotros o para hacer un bonito regalo (recordad que pronto será San Valentín ;) jeje)

Pronto haré un post bien detallado sobre el tema, con ejemplos y tabla de precios.

The second illustration I made for Venca appeared in their website a few days ago. Although it has the same two girls as the last one, I must say there's a another girl but her illustration hasn't been posted yet.

These days I'm pretty busy because I'm working on several projects that must be still be approved. But don't worry, I'll keep updating the blog with all the pictures from Venca .
By the way I can tell you that soon I'll be accepting commissions, but only for a short time. For example you can ask me to do a drawing for you or maybe as a beautiful gift for someone (remember St. Valentine's day is very near ;) hehe). Soon I'll make a detailed post about it, with examples and a price list.

Y para empezar bien el año, ¡Hoy toca doble post!

Si habéis ido leyendo el blog últimamente, recordaréis que he dicho varias veces que estaba trabajando en un proyecto del que no podía decir nada. Bien, pues ha llegado la hora, ya os lo puedo mostrar :)

Soy la encargada de hacer las ilustraciones para la temporada de rebajas de Venca.
Para los que no la conozcáis, es una empresa de moda que vende sobretodo a través de su tienda online, aunque también tienen una tienda física en Barcelona.
Las protagonistas de sus rebajas son las "Lady Gangas", ¡Tres chicas absolutamente locas por la moda!
Así que he hecho un diseño de cada una de ellas, alegres y simpáticas, cada una con su estilo pero con cierto toque "Gaga" (pero sin cosas demasiado raras jaja) y vestidas con ropa del exteeeeenso catálogo de Venca :)

Confieso que, antes de hacer el trabajo, había oído sobre Venca pero no me había parado a mirar su tienda online y ahora que me sé el catálogo de memoria (XDD) la verdad, y no lo digo por publicidad, tienen cosas que están realmente bien.
A este paso sucumbiré a la tentación de sus rebajas yo también jajaja

Por el momento ha salido la primera de las ilustraciones, una pelea por una prenda de ropa, un clásico de las rebajas (sí, sí, la gente está muy loca) Pero no durará mucho porque hay una ilustración especial para el primer día de las rebajas (este sábado 7).

Así que seguid mirando la web ya que irán apareciendo durante este mes todas las ilustraciones que he realizado para ellos :)

PD: Me olvidaba de los Reyes Magos (es que me emocionan más las rebajas a mí XDD) ¡Que os traigan mucho carbón y pocos regalos! ...¿O era al revés? :p

And to start well this year, double post today! :D

If you have been reading the blog lately, you'll remember I have said many times that I was working on a project but I couldn't tell anything about it. Well the time has come, I can show you what it is :)

I am the artist responsible of doing the artwork for the sales season of Venca.
For those who don't know them, it is a fashion company that sells mainly throught its online store, but they also have a physical store in Barcelona.
The main characters of their sales are the "Lady Gangas" (it's a play on words, "Gangas" mean bargains but it's similar to Gaga, Lady Gaga) They are three girls absolutely crazy about fashion!
So I made a design of each of them, happy and charming, each one with her own style but with a little "Gaga" look (but not too freakish haha) and dressed with clothes from the laaaarge Venca catalogue :)

I confess that, before doing this work, I heard something about them but I never stopped to visit their online store and now that I have memorized their catalogue (haha) the truth is, and I'm not saying this for publicity, that they have really good stuff.
I think I'll end up buying in their store haha.

By now there's the first one of all the illustrations, it's about fighting for a clothing piece, a classic of the sales (yes, yes, people are very crazy) But it won't last long because there's a special illustration for the first day of the sales (Saturday 7)

So keep watching the website, during this month all the illustrations I've made for them will be appearing :)
