Disney doodles: week 2

The little game, #DisneyDoodles  keeps going on! (you can see the first round here)

Remember that to participate you just have to follow me on Instagram or Twitter and vote for your favourite characters! ;)

These were the doodles of the 2nd round:

Special doodle, couples theme:  Anna & Kristoff or Beauty and the Beast, 

and Disney's classic movie was chosen.

Lady won over Cruella de Vil! Definitely we prefer dogs than fur!

The incredibly sensual Esmeralda won the brunettes match, against Pocahontas.

Disney Doodles: week 1

This month I'm getting ready for an important project (I hope I'll be able to tell you about it soon!) and to practice my "Disney skills" I've started a little game on my Instagram and Twitter accounts:

Everyday I'll give you 2 characters and YOU will vote which one you want me to draw for the next day!
Taking part of the game is as easy as following me on Twitter and/or Instagram and vote daily for your favourite character! I'll be waiting for you! ;)

And these have been the doodles of this first week:

I started with a personal favourite, Ariel wearing that lovely pink dress 

(who said pink and red can't go well together?!)

"Guys, I want a castle."

The first winner was Flynn Rider, he defeated Queen Elsa!

Next ones were Nala (The Lion King) and Thumper (Bambi),

and the adorable rabbit won the match!

Last one of the week was Tinkerbell, though Genie (Aladdin) 

was very close to win the match!

Disney sketches vol. 1 - The Little Mermaid

Lately I felt like I need to take a step forward to improve my skills, to create better illustrations with fluid movements and expressive characters, more detailed backgrounds, etc.

So I've decided to face new challenges! And the first one is practicing face expressions. To make it more fun, I practice while watching a Disney movie and I draw many expressions I see. It's not that I want to simply copy the screencap, I want to understand the pose, the movement, learn the details of each character and its personality but drawing it in my own style anyway...

That's a lot of things to achieve but I'm having a lot of fun xD

The first movie I've chosen is "The Little Mermaid", because Ariel is very expressive and charming ♥
...Next one will be "Aladdin"! ;)

UPDATE: I felt guilty for not drawing prince Eric, so here he is ♥
(also I couldn't resist to draw Ariel with that funny face xD

"Frozen" Disney princesses fan art

I couldn't finish this Disney Princesses collection without these two lovely sisters... ;)

Since I watched "Frozen" I'm totally obsessed with it! So I had a wonderful time working on this illustration, drawing this beautiful dresses while listening to its soundtrack... (now I know all the lyrics! xDD)

I can't wait to draw Anna and Elsa again, and Kristoff, Olaff, oh and Hans, my dear Hans... ♥

This illustration is bigger than usual (for me),
so here are some close-ups and sketches to see every detail!

I've spent hours and hours drawing all the details of their clothes... and I had A LOT of fun doing it.
I'm really amazed by the costume designs of this movie *o*

Disney Princesses fan arts vol. 5

Here are the last princesses of my Disney fan art collection!

Ariel and Belle were the first princesses I drew for the "Inktober" challenge (in black and white) and now the collection finishes with them in a colorful style :)

I hope you liked all these Disney illustrations!

Ariel y Bella fueron las dos primeras princesas que dibujé empezando con la idea del "Inktober" (en blanco y negro) y ahora la colección acaba con ellas pero a color :)

That big dress... and a mermaid... too easy to guess!

Ese vestido... y una cola de sirena... ¡demasiado fáciles de adivinar!

I never get tired of it, I love Belle's dress so much... *o*
Nunca me canso del vestido de Bella, es tan bonito... *o*

I really enjoyed drawing Ariel again... I should draw mermaids more often!
Me encantó volver a dibujar a Ariel... ¡Debería dibujar sirenas más a menudo!

Disney Princesses fan arts vol. 4

And here are the last princesses of my Disney fan art collection!

Now I've drawn all the princesses but don't worry this isn't finished yet! Now it's time to repeat Ariel and Belle in a colorful style (they were the first ones and I made them just in black & white).

...And with them the collection will be complete ;)

Ahora ya he dibujado a todas las princesas pero no os preocupéis porque esto aun no se ha acabado! Ahora toca repetir a Ariel y Bella con este estilo más colorido (si recordáis fueron las primeras y las hice en blanco y negro)

Por primera vez creo que no todos sabréis quiénes son todas... :P

I confess "Brave" was the only movie I hadn't watched before starting drawing this collection but now I'm totally in love with this film and with Merida and the giant Elinor! xD
Reconozco que "Brave" era la única película que no había visto antes de empezar esta colección ¡pero ahora estoy totalmente enamorada de la película  y de Mérida y la gigante Elinor! xD

I hope you guessed this one! My favourite princess and the most beautiful for me: princess Aurora from The Sleeping Beauty ♥
¡Espero que esta sí que la acertarais! Mi princesa favorita y personalmente la que encuentro más bonita de todas: la princesa Aurora de La Bella Durmiente ♥

And the last princess is... The workaholic Tiana and her beloved frog prince, croac!
By the way, I've fallen completely in love with her dress while drawing it... *o*
Y la última princesa es... La super trabajadora Tiana y su amado príncipe rana ¡croac!
Por cierto, me he enamorado locamente de se vestido mientras lo dibujadaba... *o*

Who are these mysterious girls? One is an asian warrior and the other one is a shoe lover! xD

¿Quién son estas misteriosas chicas? ¡Una es una furia oriental y la otra una amante de los zapatos! xD

The 3rd girl of this collection is Mulan! She's so brave and strong, she's definitely one of my favorites!
¡La 3ª chica de la colección es Mulan! Me encanta su carácter tan fuerte, es una de mis favoritas!

And of course the princess that loves expensive shoes is Cinderella!
Her dress is so big I almost needed a bigger paper to draw it... xDD
Y por supuesto la princesa a la que le encantan los zapatos caros es Cenicienta!

Disney Princesses fan arts vol. 1

Do you remember a few days ago I started drawing the Disney princesses for the Inktober challenge?
Well, I kept drawing them but I noticed that I put more and more colour in each illustration (they were supposed to be black and white xDD) so I've decided to change their style a little and now I'm going to draw ALL the Disney princesses, no matter if the Inktober month is over :D

And of course we keep playing the mini game "Guess the Disney Princess" on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ariArtna), I post an unfinished sketch of a princess and you have to guess which one is it! ;)

¿Recordáis que hace unos días empecé a dibujar a las princesas Disney para el reto Inktober?
He seguido haciéndolas pero me di cuenta de que cada vez las coloreaba más y más (se suponía que debían ser solo a tinta negra xDD) así que he decidido cambiar un poco el estilo de estas ilustraciones y además dibujaré a TODAS las princesas Disney, aunque el mes del Inktober se haya acabado :D

The first one is Jasmine! And of course I had to draw her best friend, Rajah ^___^

And this looooong wonderful hair belongs to Rapunzel! And he is very small but Pascal is there too :P

¡Y esta larguíiiisima melena pertence a Rapunzel! Fíjaos bien, que Pascal también está allí :p

INKTOBER + "Guess the Disney Princess" game

It's October and that means it's time for INKTOBER!

And what's that? you may wonder XDD It's a challenge in which you have to make an ink drawing everyday throughout this month.
In my case, everything I've drawn reminds me of the Disney princesses xDD so I've decided to make my inktober Disney girls themed!

So I want to propose you a little game on my Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/ariArtna ) where I'll post everyday an unfinished sketch of a princess and you'll have to guess which one is it! :P

At the end of the month you'll vote your favorite one and I'll make a wallpaper with her for you ^___^

¡Es Octubre y eso quiere decir que es el mes del INKTOBER!

¿Y qué es eso? os preguntaréis xDD pues se trata de un reto en el que hay que hacer un dibujo a tinta cada día durante todo el mes.
Como en mi caso todo lo que he dibujado me recuerda a las princesas Disney xDD así que he decidido que mi Inktober será temático de chicas Disney!

Y con esto os propongo un pequeño juego en mi Facebook ( www.facebook.com/ariArtna ) y es que cada día publicaré un boceto inacabado de la princesa del día y vosotros tendréis que adivinar cuál es! :P

Hmmm... that huge dress... and all those roses... so hard to guess! xD
Hmmm.. ese vestido enorme... y todas esas rosas... ¡difícil de adivinar! xDD

And of course it's the pretty Belle! I like her dress SO much... when I was a kid I wanted badly one like this xDD
