More illustrations for Living the City!
Some weeks ago this picture was part of the email sent to the members to present "The Secret Room", a very special beauty saloon.

When I made this illustration the local wasn't inaugurated yet so, as I didn't have any reference photos, I focused on showing its features: you can change your hairstyle while you read a book or taste some good wine, it also has excellent beauty treatments, etc.

I think you might feel like a celebrity there! :p

Hace unas semanas esta imagen formó parte del mailing enviado a las socias para presentar
"The Secret Room", un salón de belleza con mucha personalidad.

Cuando realicé la ilustración el espacio aún no se había inaugurado así que como no tenía imágenes en las que inspirarme, me centré en mostrar todas sus características: te puedes cortar el pelo o peinarte mientras lees un libro, tomas una copa, también tiene tratamientos de belleza muy especiales, etc.

Creo que debes sentirte como una celebrity allí! :p

500 followers on Twitter!

A few days ago I celebrated 300 followers on Facebook and now it's time to celebrate I've reached 500 followers on Twitter! yay!

For me it's always a challenge to say everything I want in only 140 characters, that's why I tweet so much hahaha But it looks like talking a looot gives me good surprises! :P

Again I want to thank all of you, from the ones who follow me from the very beginning when I only published tweets talking like "I'm a serious person" (what a lie huh LOL) to the newest followers that join me although I sometimes tweet nonsense things hahahaha.

Well I better stop talking or I'm going to get some unfollows... ¡¡THANKS EVERYBODY!! :D

¡Hace nada celebraba los 300 seguidores en Facebook y ahora toca celebrar los 500 followers en Twitter!

Para mí siempre es un reto escribir todo lo que quiero en tan sólo 140 carácteres, así que publico un montón de tweets jajaja Pero parece que hablar tanto da sus frutos! :P

De nuevo muchas gracias a todos, los que estáis desde el principio cuando sólo publicaba tweets en plan "soy una ilustradora super seria" (qué engañados os tenía eh xD) hasta los últimos que me seguís a pesar de las cosas surrealistas que puedo llegar a twittear jajaja

¿Do you remember the drawings I made as dedications for those who bought the book "Ilusionaria 2"?

It's been a while since I posted the first ones so now I'm publishing some more! :D

These are not the last ones, I still have a few books to dedicate and deliver! I promise I'll do it as soon as possible! >.<

¿Os acordáis de los dibujos/dedicatoria que hice para quienes compraron el libro "Ilusionaria 2"?

Bien, pues ha pasado un tiempo desde que publiqué los primeros que hice y ¡ahora va la segunda tanda! :D

No son las últimas dedicatorias, ya que aun me faltan unos pocos libros por dedicar y entregar! ¡Prometo hacerlo cuanto antes! >.<u

¡Se ha producido el milagro y me ha dado tiempo a acabar la ilustración especial para Halloween! xDD

Confieso que en estas fechas mi corazón está dividido porque en Catalunya también se celebra "La Castanyada", una tradición muy bonita porque la calles se llenan de paraditas donde venden castañas asadas, los famosos "panellets" están en todas las pastelerías... y me gusta esa sensación hogareña (?) que veo en esta fecha.

Claro que Halloween cada vez es más potente y también me parece muy chulo, así que me gusta ver como las dos tradiciones conviven en la misma fecha.

La verdad es que dudé si ilustrar una cosa u otra pero es que Halloween es tan divertido para dibujarlo...! xDD Quizás el año que viene me atreva con "La Castanyada" ;)

A miracle has occurred and I've been able to finish this illustration on time to celebrate Halloween!! haha

I confess my heart is divided these days because every year in Catalonia we celebrate "La Castanyada", is a tradition where the streets are full of little shops to buy chestnuts and the typical sweets "panellets" (yummy, yummy) and I like that homelike feeling (?) in my city.
Of course Halloween is now worldwide famous and I like it a lot too, so it's cool to see both "traditions" live together the same days.

The truth is I had some doubts about illustrating one of the holidays, but Halloween is so funny to draw... haha Maybe next year I'll try with "La Castanyada" ;)

Pues hoy me he encontrado con la feliz sorpresa de que he alcanzado ¡¡300 seguidores en Facebook!!
Y como se me da mejor dibujar que contar chistes de espartanos, he hecho esta ilustración rapidita para celebrarlo!!

Habemus nueva ilustración en Living the City :)

El mailing a ilustrar era para la inauguración del Moritz "Bar à Vins" en Barcelona, un espacio para probar más de 400 grandes vinos a precio "Low Cost" en un entorno único dentro de la Fábrica Moritz.

Como el protagonista de la ilustración debía ser el vino, usé tonos rojizos y marrones para crear el ambiente del local (muy chulo, por cierto) y capté la idea de que vas a poder probar todos los vinos que quieras. ¡Incluso me dediqué a buscar las etiquetas de los vinos que sirven allí! jaja

Espero que os guste y pronto os enseñaré la siguiente ilustración "Living the City" ;)

There's a new illustration for Living the City! :)
This time I had to make an illustration to inaugurate Moritz's "Bar à Vins", a new place in Barcelona where yo can taste more than 400 types of wine for a very low price and in a great atmosphere.

The most important thing for this illustration was "wine" so I painted a lot with brown and red, similar colours of the wine. I even searched for the labels of the wines they have there! haha
