And finally... here it is, the last piece of my "Spring Collection"!

It's been a year since I started this personal project and now that it's spring again I publish the last one xD

This is a 3 pieces collection, each one represents a trait of the spring season: "Flora" shows the flowers blooming, "Merryweather" represents the weather that helps plants grow and this one, "Fauna", highlights all the life born in this season, so I wanted her to look warm and protective.

As a curiosity, they're inspired on the three good fairies from "The Sleeping Beauty"
...They look a little bit different right? xDD

Y por fin... ¡Aquí está la última parte de la "Spring Collection"!
Ha pasado un año ya desde que empecé este proyecto personal ¡y ahora que ya es primavera otra vez consigo acabarlo! jaja

Esta es una colección de tres piezas, en la que cada una representa una característica de la estación primaveral: "Flora" simboliza las flores, "Merryweather" simboliza el clima que ayuda a crecer a las plantas y ésta, "Fauna", destaca la vida que nace durante la estación, así que la he hecho cálida y protectora.

Como curiosidad, os confieso que la idea está inspirada en las tres hadas de "La Bella Durmiente"
...Están un poco diferentes, no? XDD

Here's a sneak peek of the illustration I'm working on, it's the 3rd piece of my Spring Collection!
It has a lot of little details and it took me several hours drawing it but now I can say you'll see it finished and coloured very soon :)

Tiene un montón de detallitos así que me ha llevado bastante tiempo dibujarla pero ahora puedo decir que pronto la veréis acabada y pintada :)

The Spring Collection: Merryweather

Summer is going to finish soon and it's time to get back to normal... but don't be sad, that means I'm going to publish a lot more often hahaha

As you may remember, some months ago I started a Spring Collection and though my idea was to publish all its illustrations between March and May (yes, that's spring haha) I couldn't do it due to a lot of work. But I don't give up and now that it's almost autumn I publish the next one haha

This is "Merryweather", the second girl of the collection, she represents the weather of the season and how much plants grow.

Now there's only the 3rd and last girl missing to complete the series!

Bueno pues ya se acaba el verano y toca volver a la normalidad... ¡pero no estéis tristes, eso quiere decir que ahora volveré a publicar con más frecuencia! XDD

Si recordáis, hace meses empecé a hacer una colección de ilustraciones primaverales, y aunque mi idea era publicarlas entre Marzo y Mayo (osea, primavera XD) me ha sido imposible con el volumen de trabajo que he tenido. Pero no me rindo y aunque sea casi otoño ya yo sigo con ellas jajaja
Así que aquí tenéis a "Merryweather", la segunda chica de la colección, representa el tiempo de la estación y cómo crecen las plantas con tanta humedad.

¡Ahora falta acabar la tercera y última chica de la serie!

The Spring Collection: Flora

It's been a month since I started painting this illustration, but as you already know I suffered the malefic attack of a tendinitis on my hand and I was forced to stop for a while (and believe me, I'm a very very bad patient haha) Now I'm finally recovered and I have finished it :)
My original idea was to publish it on the first day of spring but it hasn't been possible... but these weeks we had a horrible weather so let's pretend that a new season begins today! xD

This illustration will be part of a collection of three drawings, each of them representing an aspect of the spring. This is "Flora", she symbolizes the flowers that grow in this beautiful season, therefore I've made her look delicate and very coquette, like a flower.

It will be featured on my new Facebook header, I hope you like it! :)

Hace ya más de un mes que empecé a pintar esta ilustración, pero como ya sabéis sufrí el ataque de una malvada tendinitis en la mano y me vi obligada a reposar (y creedme, soy muy mala paciente XDD) Ahora por fin estoy recuperada y he podido acabarla :)
Mi idea original era publicarla el primer día de primavera pero no ha podido ser... aunque como hasta ahora ha hecho muy mal tiempo haremos como que el cambio de estación se produce ahora XDDD

Esta ilustración formará parte de una colección de 3 dibujos, cada uno con una chica que representará una faceta de la primavera. Esta es "Flora", simboliza las flores que aparecen en esta estación, por eso la he hecho presumida, muy fina y delicada, como una flor.

Por cierto con ella decoraré la nueva cabecera de Facebook ¡Espero que os guste! :)
