¡Feliz Día de San Valentín a todos/as! ❤

Hay mucha gente que critica esta fecha, que si es totalmente comercial, que sólo es para fomentar el consumismo bla, bla, bla... Yo opino que hay otras fechas cuyo significado no nos importan lo más mínimo y en cambio sí que las seguimos (sólo por los regalos, claro XDD). Así que vamos, no pasa nada porque haya un día cursi en el calendario ;)

Los que estéis pareja es bonito que tengáis un pequeño detalle (nunca sobran :P) y a los que estéis solteros hoy tenéis una excusa perfecta para comer chocolate ¡Aprovechad! XDD

En realidad cualquier día es bueno para tener un detalle bonito con tu pareja o para darte un caprichito, lo diga el calendario o no :)

Many people criticize this date, they say it's completely commercial, that it's only made for people to waste money bla, bla, bla... I think there are other "special dates" whose meaning is not important for us but we follow them anyway (only for the gifts, of course haha). So come on, having a love day on the calendar won't hurt you ;)

If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend it's nice to have a little detail with them and if you're single, today you have a perfect excuse to eat chocolate! haha

The truth is that any day is a good day to make something special for you beloved one and to give yourself a whim, it doesn't matter if the calendar says it or not :)

¡Hola de nuevo chicos! :)

Estos días he entregado las que parece serán ya las últimas ilustraciones de la campaña de rebajas de Venca. ¡Y ya se puede ver la primera de ellas!

Esta vez me han pedido que usara las ilustraciones que realicé para diseñar a cada una de las Lady Gangas. En los diseños originales, como eran a modo de prueba, me inventé yo la ropa y las vestí como pit girls (esas chicas espectaculares de las carreras). La verdad es que me gustó mucho cómo quedaron sus trajes, ya que además era la primera vez que pintaba dando efecto de látex (quedaron muy sexys jajaja)

Pero para la campaña, las he retocado y las he vestido con ropa del catálogo de Venca, cada una con su estilo.

En esta ocasión han escogido a mi favorita de las versiones modificadas, la del vestido rojo. 

Que yo recuerde también ha sido la primera vez que pintaba textura de lentejuelas, y tras pasarme horas pintando puntito a puntito en mil capas (@.@) estoy muy contenta con el resultado.

De las otras dos restantes no se si usarán sólo una o ambas, pero tranquilos, cuando acabe la campaña os mostraré el proyecto entero, incluidos los diseños originales y una Lady Ganga que publicaron y que yo no me enteré XDDD

En fin chicos, tengo planeado mañana mismo publicar un post especial de encargos para San Valentín con precios especiales y una mini ilustración de muestra, ¡Si no sabéis qué regalar ya tenéis solución! :D

¡Hello again guys! :)

These days I have finished what seem to be the last illustrations for the Venca's sales campaign. And you can already see the first one!

This time they wanted me to use the first illustrations I made to design each Lady Ganga. In the original designs, as they were on a trial, I created their clothes and I dressed them as pit girls. The truth is that I really liked their suits and it was also the first time I painted latex clothes (they looked very sexy haha)

But for their campaign, I've modified them and used clothes from the Venca catalogue, each one with her own style.

This time they have chosen my favourite modified version, the one with the red dress.

I think it has also been the first time I've painted sequins, and after spending hours and hours painting dot by dot on a thousand layers (@.@) I'm very happy with the result.

There are two illustrations remaining but I don't know if they are going to use only one or both. But don't worry, when the campaign is over I will show you the entire project, including the original designs and one Lady Ganga I didn't get to see on their website :s

Well guys, I have planned to publish a special post about Valentine's Day commissions tomorrow, with special prices and a little illustration. If you haven't found a nice gift yet, here's your solution! :D

Hace unos pocos días que salió en la web de Venca la segunda ilustración que hice para ellos. Aunque vuelven a salir las mismas dos chicas que en la anterior, os aviso que hay una chica más cuya ilustración aun no ha salido.

Estos días estoy algo liada ya que estoy metida en varios proyectos que están por decidir, pero no sufráis, os seguiré informando sobre las ilustraciones que vayan saliendo en Venca.

Y ya puestos os adelanto que en breve aceptaré encargos personales (para particulares) durante un corto periodo de tiempo. Podréis encargarme la ilustración que queráis para vosotros o para hacer un bonito regalo (recordad que pronto será San Valentín ;) jeje)

Pronto haré un post bien detallado sobre el tema, con ejemplos y tabla de precios.

The second illustration I made for Venca appeared in their website a few days ago. Although it has the same two girls as the last one, I must say there's a another girl but her illustration hasn't been posted yet.

These days I'm pretty busy because I'm working on several projects that must be still be approved. But don't worry, I'll keep updating the blog with all the pictures from Venca .
By the way I can tell you that soon I'll be accepting commissions, but only for a short time. For example you can ask me to do a drawing for you or maybe as a beautiful gift for someone (remember St. Valentine's day is very near ;) hehe). Soon I'll make a detailed post about it, with examples and a price list.

Y para empezar bien el año, ¡Hoy toca doble post!

Si habéis ido leyendo el blog últimamente, recordaréis que he dicho varias veces que estaba trabajando en un proyecto del que no podía decir nada. Bien, pues ha llegado la hora, ya os lo puedo mostrar :)

Soy la encargada de hacer las ilustraciones para la temporada de rebajas de Venca.
Para los que no la conozcáis, es una empresa de moda que vende sobretodo a través de su tienda online, aunque también tienen una tienda física en Barcelona.
Las protagonistas de sus rebajas son las "Lady Gangas", ¡Tres chicas absolutamente locas por la moda!
Así que he hecho un diseño de cada una de ellas, alegres y simpáticas, cada una con su estilo pero con cierto toque "Gaga" (pero sin cosas demasiado raras jaja) y vestidas con ropa del exteeeeenso catálogo de Venca :)

Confieso que, antes de hacer el trabajo, había oído sobre Venca pero no me había parado a mirar su tienda online y ahora que me sé el catálogo de memoria (XDD) la verdad, y no lo digo por publicidad, tienen cosas que están realmente bien.
A este paso sucumbiré a la tentación de sus rebajas yo también jajaja

Por el momento ha salido la primera de las ilustraciones, una pelea por una prenda de ropa, un clásico de las rebajas (sí, sí, la gente está muy loca) Pero no durará mucho porque hay una ilustración especial para el primer día de las rebajas (este sábado 7).

Así que seguid mirando la web ya que irán apareciendo durante este mes todas las ilustraciones que he realizado para ellos :)

PD: Me olvidaba de los Reyes Magos (es que me emocionan más las rebajas a mí XDD) ¡Que os traigan mucho carbón y pocos regalos! ...¿O era al revés? :p

And to start well this year, double post today! :D

If you have been reading the blog lately, you'll remember I have said many times that I was working on a project but I couldn't tell anything about it. Well the time has come, I can show you what it is :)

I am the artist responsible of doing the artwork for the sales season of Venca.
For those who don't know them, it is a fashion company that sells mainly throught its online store, but they also have a physical store in Barcelona.
The main characters of their sales are the "Lady Gangas" (it's a play on words, "Gangas" mean bargains but it's similar to Gaga, Lady Gaga) They are three girls absolutely crazy about fashion!
So I made a design of each of them, happy and charming, each one with her own style but with a little "Gaga" look (but not too freakish haha) and dressed with clothes from the laaaarge Venca catalogue :)

I confess that, before doing this work, I heard something about them but I never stopped to visit their online store and now that I have memorized their catalogue (haha) the truth is, and I'm not saying this for publicity, that they have really good stuff.
I think I'll end up buying in their store haha.

By now there's the first one of all the illustrations, it's about fighting for a clothing piece, a classic of the sales (yes, yes, people are very crazy) But it won't last long because there's a special illustration for the first day of the sales (Saturday 7)

So keep watching the website, during this month all the illustrations I've made for them will be appearing :)

¡Hola de nuevo!
¿Qué tal van los primeros días del 2012?
Ya me lo puedo imaginar, seguramente cumpliendo vuestros propósitos de año nuevo de "dejar de fumar", "ir al gimnasio", "levantarse más temprano"...

Calculo que la mayoría de esos propósitos durarán aproximadamente hasta el día 9 de este mes XDDDD

Al ser este el primer post del año, le he dado muchas vueltas: me habría gustado hacer un dibujo especial para la ocasión (pero un dibujo en el Paint era lo máximo que me daba tiempo a hacer estos días XDD), una laaaarga lista de mis propósitos para el 2012 (que solo serviría para que al acabar el año me recordeis lo que no he cumplido XD) o una recopilación con los mejores posts del 2011 pero como hace tan poquito que he abierto el blog pues habríais vuelto a leer lo de hace 2 meses XD.

Así que a disfrutar este 2012 (aprovechad, que será el fin del mundo dicen...), no tiréis la toalla con vuestros propósitos y SOBRETODO, seguid visitando mucho mi blog xDDD

How are these first days of the year?
I can imagine, surely fulfilling your New Year's resolutions like "quit smoking", "go to the gym", "get up earlier"...

I figure most of this purposes will last approximately until 9th of this month hahaha

As this was the first post of the year, I've been thinking a lot about it: I would have liked to do a special drawing for the occasion (but a picture done with Paint was the best thing I had time to do these days xDD), a loooong list with my resolutions for 2012 (which would only be useful for you to tell me at the end of the year what I haven't done haha) or a collection of the best posts of the 2011, but I opened this blog just a little time ago so you would have read what you read 2 months ago :_D

Enjoy this 2012 (some people say the world it's going to end...), don't give up on your resolutions and MOST IMPORTANT: Keep visiting my blog! xDDD

Forever 21 x Hello Kitty

En esta ocasión la ilustración trata sobre una de mis grandes pasiones: la moda. 
A menudo me paseo por las tiendas únicamente para ver sus colecciones y coger sus catálogos (bueno vale, y también para comprar :_D)  

Hace unas semanas se anunció una colección especial de Hello Kitty para la firma americana, Forever21 y confieso que me encanta ese estilo dulce y vintage que tiene. En concreto me he enamorado de este jersey blanco (el cual por desgracia no ha llegado aún a Barcelona) y por eso es el protagonista de esta ilustración. He mantenido a la misma modelo que las fotos, me encanta su toque "retro-kawaii" :)

It's time to talk about on my biggest passions: fashion!
Quite often, I always like taking a walk around the shops just to see their collections or take their catalogues (ok, and also to buy new stuff :_D)

Some weeks ago, a special collaboration of Hello Kitty with Forever21 was announced and I confess I love the sweet vintage style of every piece. I've fallen deeply in love with this white sweater (that unfornately it's still not available in Barcelona) and that's why it's the highlight of this illustration. I've kept the same model as the photos because I think that "retro-kawaii" look she has is really cool :)
